Side hustlers overlook the Chicago Public Library as a place to create. Probably because the word library is associated with dusty, old books. that’s why we’re dropping the word ‘library’ from its name.
PR STUNT
We’ll create buzz by covering up the word ‘library’ on all 80 locations.
SUBWAY TAKEOVER
We’ll takeover the Harold Washington subway stop, which is blocks away from the Chicago Public Library’s main branch (Harold Washington). The takeover will inspire our target to explore all the non-traditional (and free) services at Chicago Public.
EXPERIENTIAL
A week after publicly dropping our label, Chicago Public will host an interactive open house where attendees will write down their label on black bars, then physically drop it, freeing them to pick up something new at Chicago Public.
